Job Responsibilities

Arranges and conduct funeral and memorial services and all things involved, including:

• Setting up at the chapel and church
• Applying cosmetics, dressing, and casketing

• Assisting at the cemetery

• Supervising the parking of cars

• Delivering flowers
• Meets with families to organize funeral services and discuss arrangements

• Conducts removals and transfers
• Embalms after receiving authorization and identification verification
• Confirms authorization to proceed with the service arrangements
• Assist with cremations
• Gets commission off prearrangements

Certification/Licenses

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree from Accredited Mortuary Science Program.
• Successful completion of the National Board Examination.
• Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination.
• Valid Funeral Director State Licensure.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Schedule: (Willing to discuss/accommodate schedule)

• Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and evening on-call rotation
• Weekend and Holiday Availability – On-call rotation

• Holiday Availability – On-call rotation

Pay:

Salary is dependent upon experience, please inquire for more details. Salary ranges between $55,000 – $75,000 based on experience.
