ACU Nursing Honours Scholarships at Australian Catholic University 2023 Benefits
$10,000 & $29,863 per annum for 1st class Hons. students.
Recipients of this scholarship who complete their honors year and receive a first-class honors degree will be prioritized for an HDR stipend (valued at approximately $29,863 per annum). They will need to admit to and enroll in, an ACU Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course in 2024.
- This scholarship is valued at up to $10,000, to be paid in installments of $6,000 in Semester 1 and $4,000 in Semester 2. A pro-rata (partial) payment is calculated for part-time enrolment.
- There are 5 scholarships available.
ACU Nursing Honours Scholarships Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet all the following criteria:
- Study load: full-time or part-time
- Course: will apply or have applied to study Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) in Semester 1, 2023 (must be admitted and enrolled by 12 March 2023)
- Year level: completed or due to complete the final year of a relevant undergraduate degree
- Must apply for an ACU program with an equal or higher level of study than the currently held qualifications.
- You must not be receiving any other ACU scholarship or award.
- You must not attend ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student.

Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
- Contact an eligible supervisor to discuss one of the project topics listed here.
- Obtain their proposed supervisor’s endorsement of their application form (using this template).
- Submit the above-completed form using the ‘Apply’ button on this page.
If you completed your bachelor’s degree outside ACU, you would also need to upload a copy of your transcript.

Selection process
The recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Office in consultation with the Deputy Provost and Dean of Graduate Research.
